History
Moberg Derma AB was founded by Marie Moberg and Peter Wolpert in 2006 based on more than 15 years of research and inventions by Dr Sven Moberg - a specialist in dermatology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. The portfolio has been extended by new inventions, inlicensing and acquisition of assets. To date, 115 MSEK has been raised. The company has received grants and funding from Vinnova and ALMI.
Business Concept
Moberg Derma develops medical products for unmet needs in common skin diseases. Products are marketed through partners and distributors. Product rights in selected markets are retained to enable future marketing activities. Current focus Moberg Derma has several approved products and a portfolio of development projects with high potential. Our focus under 2010-2011 is to support partners to launch our products in several markets. Simultaneously we work to bring additional development programs into clinical phase.

Moberg Derma is a privately owned company with the Baltic Sea Foundation (Sw: Östersjöstiftelsen) as lead investor. Other owners include the founders, private investors, management and board.
